How to Succeed with Magnetic Personal Branding through Social Media
There is no doubt about it, magnetic personal branding and social media go together like fish and chips. You can’t have one without the other. This revolves around the fact that personal branding was conceptualized on the internet. Magnetic personal branding actually means to define your goals and interests, either personal or professional, with the use of personal branding through social media and other internet platforms – then connecting with people with the same interests and goals.
It’s a common misconception that personal branding is only for businesses or companies. Most business owners don’t even think about branding, but if you want to show your individuality and catch the attention of others – such as possible customers or clients – it’s a great avenue to do so.
Bear in mind that there are many others who are as good or as talented as you. Hence, drawing other people’s interests can be challenging.
Of course, you have plenty of things to offer but you need to focus on who you want to connect with, as well as what you want to be known for. You can still post random things once in a while but the key is to maintain the image that you want to project.
Build and maintain your social media accounts.
It is important to be active and up-to-date on social networks. Share some of your posts, or share a friend’s work if you like. Just keep the content coming. You need to make consistency one of your goals if you want your audience to always be interested. Schedule your posts strategically to make sure you post focused content.
Connect with your target clients.
There is no use for social media if you can’t make connections. You cannot keep talking about yourself – put effort into reaching out to people. This may be the purpose of social media but it can never be stressed enough. Be true to yourself; people do not like someone who is pretending to be something else. Remember that these days people are smart enough to find out if you’re faking.
